"Bezek", my shell spinner, vs the vertical spinner "Hoot" at RoboGames 2017. Hoot was a hastily constructed vertical spinner with an aluminum front wedge and a frame of screwed together UHMW. Based on my previous fight, I was reasonably confident that I would be able to avoid his weapon and cause damage with low speed attacks. Unfortunately, most of the good hits occurred just out of frame - I should have brought my fish-eye lens.

Also note the hole in the center of the arena from one of the other fights. The floor was fiberglass reinforced plastic and it turns out this is not a good material for modern beetleweights. It was filled with holes by the end of the weekend and after every run bots were filled with plastic dust.
