Mayhem

This is a platformer experiment with Scorched Earth inspired destructable ground and aiming controls. It features the rocket system from Rocket Test and a version of the particle system from Rockshow5. The controls are quite difficult because of the artillery style aiming, and the collision with the ground is janky, but there are some fun ideas.

Some OCX files are required. I've provided a download and install batch file for them.

Controls:

• Arrow keys - Move
• Left Click - Teleport (debug)
• > - Aim clockwise
• < - Aim counter-clockwise
• / - Reset aim
• Alt - Shoot
• 1 - Machine Gun
• 2 - Shotgun
• 3 - Flamethrower
• 4 - Grenade Launcher
• 5 - Rocket Launcher
• 6 - Time Bomb
• 7 - Laser
• 8 - Fuel Tank
• Escape - Quit
