3D Printed Intellivision Shelf
I designed a custom shelf for storing and displaying Intellivision games.
Design
It stores the games in vertical stacks of six at a slight angle. This improves storage density makes the labels readable, although the Imagic games are still annoying misfits.
It takes up roughly the same height and depth as a CD jewel case.
Parts
This uses the same style of construction as my other shelf projects, with the rack and end caps printed separately. There is also a double sided "mid cap" that allows you to extend the shelf as much as you like. If you leave one end of the shelf as a "mid cap" then you can extend it in the future.
Clamp and glue together. All of my glue and epoxy seems to have solidified or evaporated except for a tube of Loctite PowerGrab construction adhesive - so I used that. I put it in a syringe and dosed out a tiny amount into the grooves before assembly and it seems to work well. I'd bet regular wood glue works too.
